The stories of the adolescent girls have been those of amazing transformation in their lives over some years. This girls come from a social milieu where education is not at all a priority for girls. It is an uphill task to creative conditions conducive for the adolescent girls to come to the Centre and participate in the activities here. The girls who otherwise would have been forced to drop out of school under various pretexts – poverty, security, marriage– develop an awareness of their own lives and life conditions; and the confidence to make their own choices.
