About Us

Kadam Education Initiative emerged as an autonomous initiative of the Centre for Development in 2007 with the intention of enabling children to access education and develop as competent citizens. A large number of children are deprived of education and basic entitlements and many of them end up as child labour or be victims of trafficking. Girls are Particularly more vulnerable and drop out of school due to extreme poverty, child marriage or trafficking. Driven by the strong conviction that every child has a right to equal opportunities to build a life of dignity, Kadam Education Initiative is committed to take ‘a small step towards reclaiming childhood’.
